How’s everyone feeling?
Prepared?

Let’s us know you’re predictions...

Lol same here I hate the marks scheme I never get it bang on what they want. What stuff specifically on haemoglobin will come up do you think? I think the Phosphorus Cycle will come up
Phosphorus cycle is paper 2.

I don't know specifically but something to do with the affinity for oxygen / how it changes / why its easier for other molecules to bind after one has (dissociation curve) maybe even the structure? - They just haven't examined it in a long time.

They'll definitely ask some questions on the heart as that's not been examined in the new spec yet.

Bitta Cohesion-Tension theory

Probably some Meiosis question relating to an unknown organism

(Independant seg + crossing over has not been examined yet i don't think)

I don't think i've seen Translation examined yet either.

Mark schemes are a pain in the ass because you can guarantee there's always a keyword you've missed off

Predictions:
Haemoglobin (oxygen dissociation curves)
Translation
Meiosis
HIV
Testing for stach/lipids etc
Prokaryotic vs eukaryotic vs virusis
Protein or lipid digestion
And also the heart (i'm thinking maybe the cardiac cycle)

Something to do with Phylogeny and classification of organisms, probably the taxon hierarchy just remember that.
Domain, Kingdom, Phylum, Class, Order, Family, Genus, Species
There was a question last year on naming species, so maybe a hierachy question or measuring the index of diversity???

I'm feeling kinda scared. I think proteins will be a large section in this paper, probably embedded in different topics

Some parallels drawn there- how are you guys revising because I just feel so unprepared
Yes, I really dont know how to feel.
I felt more prepared for my mocks than I do for tomorrow...
