I never had one at school and am very glad we did not. It is an awful American tradition, very expensive too, and if you boycott it, well done.
mine is on the 20th June and i did have a date but unfortunately he cant go because he isnt a 'fan of public events' (LMAO)

we've got a prom and my schools boys only.
My prom was nonexistent, lol. I had a series of panic attacks throughout the day it was happening, and in the end I got myself worked up so much I was completely unable to go. My family decided to take me out instead, and we all went to get dinner and watch the newest Spider-Man film.
So much better than prom.
