Then just start with some free weights or some press ups? Everyone starts somewhere. If you are consistent then improvents will be quick.
should I keep doing chest press with bar only then? I can do 5kg on top of it but not a lot of reps lol.
Get a proper routine. Read the FAQ.

huh
There is nothing wrong with you. Everyone starts out in different spots, so it's not good to compare yourself to others who can do more. I recommend starting with pushups or dumbbell based workouts. It will take time but as long as you stay committed, you will get stronger. Benching with dumbbells is one of the best chest workouts you can do, even more so than the traditional bench press, so I would start with that. I found this article with a few chest exercises to try out until you can start benching normally: https://www.openfit.com/chest-and-triceps-workout-exercises

If you can do 5 reps for 5 sets then stick with the bar.

If not, use the dumbells. Maybe 5kg on each hand?

a 5x5 workout is great for a beginner to create your foundation. (5x5 workout - search it on google ye)

Actually I lift 45g at a time, not in 45 years you handsome paki

Ohhh my bad
The bar weights 20 kg alone. Also it’s harder to balance the bar when there is no weight on it. Add 5 kg on both sides and have a friend spot for you. I guarantee you will find it easier than having no weights on.

I think sometimes people forget that the bar itself is heavy as it is. It’s about 20kg on its own. Use dumbbells first so you can build your chest up to the level that you can lift the bar first.
