aaarhh I'm an idiot. I forgot to multiply by 10 on 3c. Would I gain any marks for method?

Hi, on that previous thread, there are five more images for Q6-9. Please bring them onto here, thank you so much!
You'll lose an M1 mark and the final A1 mark because of that unfortunately (I think - lol, I'm no examiner. Just a another student).

Damn. I made quite a few silly mistakes so I reckon I lost around 6-7 marks Hopefully it's enough for 90 UMS

Hey there for 4b what do you think I’d get if I just put 4ln(x)+5=(ln(x))^2? I ran out of time unfortunately and I was going to come back to it
It was 4 marks, and I would realistically say 1 mark! (just to be safe) as that part was only rearranging the equation really so only 1 mark worth of credit I think.

grade boundary predictions?
are you man resitting
Okay thanks. How about for 9a if I just put 1+(1/x - 1)^2 / (1/x)^2. Really appreciate it.

How many marks lost for not discounting x=e^-1 in 4b and not including x=1/2 for 2bi (I only put x=>3/4) do you think?

probably 2, is that all you lost?
Again, you didn't reach the final result so probably the final A1 mark for getting the desired result - in order to get that desired result you need to expand, collect like terms etc etc, which I think would be M1? So perhaps 2 marks here lost.

What so 1 for both or 2 for both you mean? And I'm not sure if I put 3.18 or 3.02 but I got the t=9.92 and t=3.03 so hopefully only lose 1 for that

1 mark lost (A1) for not rejecting e^-1 and please read my comment after the images regarding Q2bi

Okay thanks a lot. Do you perhaps know what the correct answer for 2ia was? Did it involve something squared at the denominator? Sorry for asking all these questions btw
