dont know the specific model of the processor but some kind of i5, i most only know about i7s

as for the monitor, dont worry about the 1ms response time you wont notice the difference. the res completely depends on what you want in a game. you can either have high refresh rate and low res, or high res and low refresh rate. and right now you have low res and low refresh rate.
if youre playing csgo, you need a 1920x1080 monitor with a minimum of 144hz due to the tickrate. if you dont take it seriously though it doesnt matter.
personally i have a 1920x1080 monitor with 240hz, but i couldve had a 1440p monitor with 144hz, it just depends on preference really. i much prefer higher refresh rate over res but you might be different.
in any case, £75 will get you a pile of **** when it comes to monitors, you need to be spending atleast £200 on it, if you want g-sync, prepare to go to minimium of about 250

I am so appreciative that RAM and SSD are cheaper man ! intel is better for gaming but I am still team red in general 7NM!!! :0

Until Ryzen 2 where they are expected to be on par. Most games are written for intel because AMD wasnt an opposition. Ryzen better value for money plus you can ugrade on AM4. Intel keep changing motherboards hence why they gouge people.

you can buy better monitors, go for 120 hz or 1440p at least or change gpu to like a 1660 ti and that case is ridiculously priced, you can save like £70 on that

i didn't see the update

The build is fine you just need to get the balance to suit you.

You can watch all the benchmark videos you like on hardware unboxed and it will show you just how many extra frames you get from each cpu or gpu. As pointed out your video card is more the limiting factor, but for what you want its more than good enough.

Monitors can get complicated as they can vary by image quality, picture resolution and frame rates.

Thanks @999tigger
For PSU, would you recommend getting a fully modular or is not that much of a difference?
Ive heard mixed reviews some people saying cable management wont be that much of an issue since you won't even see it, thoughts?

Got it, so to save a buck, I may downgrade the monitor to 120 hz

This is a waiting game quite clearly.

Great time to be doing a build.
The gent 2324 doesnt know what he is talking about.
Wont make much difference. You have to decide whether you want to go RGB or its value and performance you want.
Just look at the sites I gave you and you can see the differences yourself.

as i said, it depends on what you want. if you want high refresh rate then yes this is a very good monitor, mainly for csgo. but do you want g-sync? do you want high res?

The only reasons you'd really need to go fully modular are for building in small format cases like MATX or MITX chassis where the extra cables can make fitting everything in difficult or potentially impact cooling, or it you're using clear side panels and are anal about cable management. If it's a regular ATX case and you don't plan on having your computer's innards on display, buying a fully modular PSU is just extra money for little gain.

Right now if I get a rx 580 I'm prolly getting 1080p with no more than 120hz 1ms response
If I upgrade that obviously the monitor will change along.
I don't seen why freesync isn't an option doubt il get g sync although it looks amazing

Not entirely different but I made smarter choices.
Share your thoughts and ideas on it .
out of 10 ?

Your advice has been noted
How is the RX 580 treating you with tougher games ? are its limits even visible ? if not I may consider it
The ryzen 5 2600 was my original choice but after seeing the x version was like 30 quid more plus could get cheaper after new processors come out I listed it.
I had the mentality "Once its built im not spending another penny" so I might as well cash in a bit more.
How was your PC'S date of birth ?

If your looking for a better cooler and better boost speeds then go for the 2600x . The Rx 580 can run fortnite in streamers setting at 100+fps dropping to 60 occasionally in tilted with 30+people . I run csgo at 300+fps on any setting. Ryzen is more futureproof as the newer gen ryzens will be compatible for years. Intel change motherboards every gen. I would go for a gtx 1160 or something though .

you can get cheaper 16gb ram at that speed by corsair vengeance . They have pretty good ram and you could get a gtx 1160
