GCSE further maths

Does anyone know if it's possible if I can do GCSE further maths privately white still doing maths A-level? Will I be allowed as I will have an advantage over everyone doing GCSE further maths as I'm doing A levels?
I want to do it as my school didn't offer it and it will further boost my prospects for economics at uni. Thanks

If you are doing maths A level a further maths GCSE will not boost your university prospects.

I understand what you mean but if I were to do it would I be able to ? Just a thought

Nothing to stop you entering for the AQA further maths qualification if you can find an exam centre willing to enter you apart from possible clashes with A level exams next summer.
