How can I hold a long conversation?

I'm planning to meet my online German friend but I'm worried that it'll just be awkward.

We both like anime and manga but I don't know how to turn that into a conversation that we can talk endlessly about.

I'm bad at socialising in real life and get really anxious (>_< )

Any advice please?

Definitely just in case!
Listen to them.

You can get clues in the conversation you can talk about and expand on things, draw from experience, tell a story.

Yea but what if they're trying to do the same thing and it just becomes awkward? I want to be able to say something that can start a long conversation so that I have something to listen to. I can't explain it properly sorry (>_< )
basically lie to be interesting

Thanks! I'll need to plan it out beforehand since in the past I've lied about fun stuff I've done and got caught.
