Favourite hip hop songs/artists and why

Look at title
(all my faves r from the 90s lol)

electric relaxation - a tribe called quest
- the sample throughout the song is unreal, takes me to another planet

ack like you want it - black moon
- same as above. the sampled beat is amazing

dog it - digable planets
- it was a song that i became obsessed with when i was like 15, it was just a really formative time in my life and the song just was so good to listen to
I'll list some off of the top of my head along with my favourite song by them. I like most of them for similar reasons ( Amazing flow and/or fantastic storytelling).

Royce DA 5'9'' - Startercoat
GZA - Living in the World Today
Elzhi - February
Immortal Technique - Dance With the Devil
Big L - MVP

Thanks. I’m into old school stuff so I guess you hit the nail on the head. Imma listen to these songs
Have you heard Nas’ new album (Lost Tapes 2)?
Only listen to new stuff. Travis Scott, Juice Wrld, 6lack etc.

Who’s side are you on when it comes to the Drake and Kanye beef? and why

Honestly I'm not really on a specific "side". Kanye did seem like a snake and I wouldn't be surprised if he told Pusha about Drake's son. But I don't trust Drake either. Everything he does seems to be manufactured to gain more popularity and stay relevant. If I had to pick I'd probably say Drake

Fair enough. People are saying it was Kanye who told Pusha.
I understand what you’re saying about Drake, but most celebrities are like that (they don’t want to be portrayed in a bad image).
I like the ‘old’ Kanye, but I prefer Drake right now (also Drake shows the UK a lot of love, which I don’t see any other non-artist doing much of)

Yeah he does show the UK a lot of love tbf.
I've never really listened to Kanye tbh, probably wait till his new album comes out to listen to him.

Listen to some of his older stuff. In my opinion his recent albums have been decent, but nothing special
