How are grades added up in the end?

So I recently got my A’s results back. I was predicted AAB but I ended up with an ACD. I am devastated but my teachers say to still keep my hopes up. I was confused as to how grades are added up in the end of year13?. Like for example if I get all A’s in year 13 what will my final grades be? What’s the math? And also I’m thinking of starting over with chemistry because I got a D and I’m still deciding please suggest a solution.

All irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, you just need to decide if you want to commit to retakes.
