I've come out to my mum, and a few friends, but my dads a little tricky ^^; I'm hoping to come out before college starts in September, so I can start there as my chosen name.
If it's a circle the option, I either circle both or add my own. If it has to be male or female, I tick female - especially if it's in a medical case, because the female anatomy is different from males so I figure it's probably more important? OR - I just go with how i feel. Roulette sounds fun!
I haven't really played them if i'm honest - sorry!

I do play sims 4! And I mean, I personally love it because of my identity, and it gives other people more awareness in a way, and kids that may play it can start to see there is more than just the moulds they grew up with :>

Flipping a coin has served me well in the past for unimportant online forms or surveys. On paper forms I always used to leave title blank, but am more likely to amend it with a third option as well these days.

That's strange, because now I'm guessing you don't really mind if people suggest you have female traits (as from the quote below I can infer that you don't mind being called feminine terms). That's very interesting.. So... do you think you see your body as your own now?
I'm going to assume you don't fully (because you said you have dysphoria). In that case, I've got a question. Doesn't the fact that you are in your body now mean that it in fact is you? Every human individual is different, therefore, aren't you just you at the end of the day?
Maybe I'm being naive here, because plenty of people in the world don't like their looks, and a certain fraction of that actually go out of their way to change their bodies. Like if someone has a physical defect that must be removed at birth, you'd think that the child would appreciate it being removed than it being left. Though... that's not really that similar to identifying.. eh, I've lost my train of thought. Oh yeah - if what you have is actually a physical defect, then I can understand, with appreciation of social conditioning, why you felt this way at your female body parts. But if what you have is simply a product of nature, then maybe it's meant to be? On the other hand, I suppose one could argue that everything is a product of nature... I don't know.

3 - The best way forward is to simply experiment. Whatever happens happens, and there's not much we can do about it - so it's best to simply run a small and controlled experiment. Having a neutral toilet seems the best to me. But I also think society must not associate stigma to LGBT people - and I think there's been a good push in that direction - but there are forces pushing against that too. I guess we'll see what happens.
4 - What do you mean by "same-sex" books? I like how you describe how when we were young we didn't really care about that kind of stuff.

Almost as fast as one judges someone else's character (voluntarily or not), humans judge other people's genders purely based on appearance. The people that would mistakenly refer to you as female harboured no ill will (and I already know you know this). The people who would not refer to you as you would refer to them (if they had been in your situation) simply lack understanding or empathy. Thus, this really is a learning opportunity for everyone, as far as I can tell. And so, I really appreciate your time explaining this to me. I'm not really all that clued in on LGBT-related matters.

Ah, this is a misconception. Being transgender isn't a mental illness. Being transgender comes with gender dysphoria though, and in a lot of cases it's 'cured' by transitioning and being accepted as your gender! I do have dysphoria, on top of depression and anxiety, which may play hand in hand.

If you're referring to the fact that transgender people apparently 'reinforce gender roles' - its BS. Honestly, I don't care what anybody believes but the fact that someone wants to be themselves, and be their identity is reinforcing some agenda is just dumb. You can be trans male and dress feminine, trans female and dress masculine or nonbinary and dress whatever tf. You can be a bloody attack helicopter for all I care, and if anything thats reinforcing gender roles less lmao. I think some people use us to push some sort of narrative that people might take at face value if that makes any sense. But, bottom line, you do you and feminists cant change that

I don't, and I personally think they're unneeded, but it someone uses them I'll respect that and address them as such. We only have one life, no point spending it uncomfortable or making others uncomfortable!
