German writing

How can I get a grade 9 in german writing?

As above, lots of practice and a good understanding of word/sentence structure would be useful. I used to write out paragraphs on a whiteboard and slowly erase words until I could recall the whole paragraph either written or spoken. It made sure I could work out how to formulate the sentences if I ever got stuck!
