A level re mark

I'm filling out the form to get my English language exam re marked ( I'm 2 marks off an A) but I'm not sure what to fill out for the syllabus name and number? Can anyone help? Thanks. The exam board is edexcel.

or ask exam officer. Looks like they only have one English Lang A level.

It should be on your results slip. Syllabus name will be English Language. At a guess the number will be 9EN0 (and then you need to put which paper you want reviewing , e.g. 9EN0 01 for Paper 1, as the cost is per paper.

Any guess what the unit name might be? I've got the unit code.

You started by saying you needed the syllabus name which is English Language. Do you also need the unit name? I can't imagine why. Just miss it out or put 'Paper 2' or suchlike.
