New car

Hey guys. I have money for a new car and I’m stuck between two. Be honest!
- C class Coupe by Mercedes
- X2 by BMW

I’m going to get in nearly new both with around 6000 miles. Help me. I’m stuck since one is clearly a two door with 4 seats or 5 door with 5 seats. But I’m not going to be picking up friends running around being a cabbie!! So what do you guys think and suggest.

Moved to 'Cars and Motoring' :h:

No experience in driving, but I'd go with the Merc imo :gah:

I'd almost always go Mercedes ahead of BMW. Love the look and feel, and a few people I know have them and they've never said a bad word.

Given you're still doing your GCSEs, I find this thread rather interesting.

Get the Mercedes simply because it’s a Mercedes

Right... it was only a few months ago you were doing them... either you did your GCSE's a few years late or you somehow managed to defy the system and pass your driving test without being old enough.

Either way, moot point, you can't afford to insure the cars you've asked about.

Parents rewarding you for sitting your GCSE's I see:wink:
Lucky haha and go for the MERC
Maybe ask the other troll who couldn't decide between a Lambo and an Evoque?
You can't afford either of these, and probably never will.
End of thread.

Neither because as your first car, you'll make a lot of mistakes and damage it. It's also very expensive to repair both of these cars and they aren't that reliable.
Some rude people in here and Mercs are very reliable cars.

Can you afford the insurance? Buy something less powerful ...

They definitely aren't reliable (aren't in the top 10 for reliability by brand based on consumer reports for 2016-2018). Parts for them are very expensive, so OP would end up paying a lot in maintenance and repairs.

If he/she wants one, can afford insurance and running costs then they can get it if they want.

There is virtually no difference. Buy the one you like the looks of more.

Just read the post history of OP and just maybe you might see things don't add up and this is an obvious troll?
