Not surprised . For all his flaws Boris is right on Brexit and has actually got some balls. I pray he sticks to his guns and doesn’t Cuck. He’s got the entire forces of darkness screaming at him,he better not budge.

I like Amber Rudd.

I personally don't see the logic in this. It weakens the Govt, makes the country less stable. Surely if the administration is so ****e, we'd need a wise old leader like her mitigating that ****eness.

This is just posturing for future leadership. And I have to say that members who consistently vote against the Govt and undermine the Govt's whole direction are not compatible with that Govt. If they weren't punished for voting against the whip, then the whip would cease being useful.

the Conservative party is now much more representative if it’s members and she can’t stand that and has wisely quit, although she is t brace enough to hold a by election. All these Tories are better off in the Lib Dem’s.

The exact same thing with the Labour Party and the likes of Umunna etc

You appear to think there is some huge demand for people like Amber Rudd. The party closest to her views is Change UK and is polling about 2%. The second is Lib Dem and the best she can hope for there is that she retains her seat which is incredibly unlikely.

No, I imagine she thinks that there is a future for her in leadership; I didn't say I suppose that to be the case. Pay closer attention if you wish to tango with the best.

Similar to how BoJo resigned as Foreign Sec just waiting in the wings until there was a change in the party's direction.

Anyway, if nothing changes, I think it's clear that BoJo's run at the top is gonna end rather fast. A) cannot control the Commons; and B) cannot call an election. He is impotent and people in his party will look for someone else.

She rode back in after being humiliated as Home Sec over Windrush. I am not sure why she'd think any different here, especially as she has a number of very prominent MPs on her side and many of whom were seen as the future of the party.

I am an illiberal socialist... or maybe a Social nationalist 😉 Seeing liberals like Rudd and Umunna leave their host parties is a good thing for me.

As a Hegelian I hope for the Tory party to become more socially conservative and authoritarian, and for the Labour Party to be more economically radical and antizionist and to embrace populism... then I think something which combines the 2 can arise from

This basically Happened in the 90s which helped create new labour.
