Please help! (About LLB )

Could someone please help me? I have achieved 38 points in the IB (HLs: 7- bio, 6 - Econ, 4 - Math). Last year when I applied to Unis, all the good universities (e.g. Kings, LSE, UCL) rejected me because I was predicted 39 points but 6,6,6 at HL and they all wanted 7,6,6 at HL. Now I am stuck at a low ranked university I really don't like ( I don't want to mention the name) and I feel quite demotivated in. In the future I also want to do my masters at a highly ranked university ( e.g. Cambridge or LSE) and I am almost certain that my chances of this are almost non existent if I attain my degree at my current university.

I have tried to apply to QMUL through clearing and they said that unfortunately they would have taken someone with 6,6,5 at HL but not 7,6,4 ( I found this a bit strange because in both cases the number add up to 17).

I am planning to retake my math exam in November and (depending on my grade) I want to reapply to better universities. I know some universities ( e.g. UCL and Kings) do not accepts resists for law but others (LSE) said they could consider an applicant who has retaken exams (however in the case of LSE I am not sure if the rule only applies to people with extenuating circumstances).

So now my question is in the case that I end up getting a better grade in math, which other top universities in England accept resists for law, where should I apply to?

You could take a look at this thread about A level resits - that will give you an idea.

You could try asking QMUL if they will accept resits and whether it's worth you applying there via UCAS for 2020 entry?

Bristol has no problems with resits, and requires 38 points overall with 18 HL, so you might even get an immediate Unconditional offer regardless of resits. If you get a decent LNAT, its definitely worth an application. The Law School has a solid reputation, and this would put you in a good position for postgrad study.
