University injections?

So basically I want to be a nurse. But I’ve heard that in university you need to get injections and a blood test. Is this true and what are the for? Because I’ve already gotten all my jabs so..
As far as I’m aware if you’ve had all your shots you’ll be fine you’ll just need to prove that you’ve had them.
Usually you need:
Measles, Mumps and Rubella
TB
Hepatitis B
Chicken Pox
Tetanus, Polio and Diptheria
