I would say in my experience gen z is very reactionary. I know if you read right wing press you'll get the impression millenials are all liberals or whatever but in my experience that couldn't be further from the truth. most millenials i know harbour casual homophobia, islamaphobia and other general nonsense. the other day in form we were asked would be willing to stop or reduce flying and i was the only one to put my hand up. Everyone seems to believe right wing rubbish that Corbyn is a communist, IRA supporter or whatever else. someone even said they'd support margaret thatcher. is this just my experience or am i not alone in this

Well a simple google search shows that Essex is a pretty Conservative place, with all seats in it being held by Conservative MPs. Essex however, does not represent the entire country.
I suppose most are moderate, but it does seem like there are more young people on the far left than the far right.
But it often depends on the beholder... eg, a far-left person may group reasonable centre-grounders as 'right-wingers', or a far-rightie might call everyone to the left of themselves a socialist. Obviously these people would see a lot more of the other side than their own side.

have no idea. I can't make judgements about the whole country based on "my area"(or just my school) and who I speak to. Or the internet.

Yep i know that but still i always thought young people were more tolerant. i was a rightwinger for a while believe it or not. in fact i know someone who's now a Left-Communist but was basically a Nazi (strasserist).

Anyway, good on Essex for having youths that don't breathe in Jeremy Corbyn and his bs, and breathe out mental insanity. The idiot wants to reduce the working week to 4 days, enforce a £10 an hour minimum wage, and still thinks the economy will grow as a result, buffoon.

I am worried that policy could slow economic growth, if he reduces working week he shouldn't increase pay. But you've got to remember that giving workers better conditions may raise their morale and overall improve their quality of work if they're not tired.
What county are you from then?
Essex shouldn't be tory because we have plenty of working class people particuarly in Thurrock or Basildon, its only because Labour is spouting all this soical liberalism rubbish like open borders which will not ressonate with any working class person

with all due respect as pointed out the UK economy is stagnated. Thomas cook collapsed other day, wrightbus today.....even the big banks admit a Corbyn government would be better than no deal

Please, do tell me where I said our economy is doing great now. Our economy isn't doing amazing at all, we import more than we export (mainly bad with goods, rather than services), and our productivity is low. This may just be a hunch, but I don't think reducing the working hours, and taking more money out of the employers pockets, will make the economy any better.

Well, it's good to see that you at least recognise both raising minimum wage and decreasing working hours will slow down our already slow economic growth. What exactly is improving about the working conditions? All that would happen with raising wages is that there is more money chasing after the same amount (or less amount because of the reduced hours, assuming that happens) of goods, which is a nice recipe for increased inflation. I am from Wales, and a very strong Labour part of Wales, so it's bloody lovely for me.

Because the conservatives do not represent the itnerests of working class people in the slightest. (neither does labour mostly nowadays but at least it does to some extent). They are class traitors in all honesty.
