Name: Milly
Location: Scotland
Course: Psychology
Predicted grades: A1A1A1 (I think it’s equivalent to or worth slightly more UCAS points than A*A*A* at A-level) tho with my previous grades I already meet requirements
Also applying at: Oxford, Edinburgh, Durham, Glasgow
Currently studying: Advanced Higher (basically A-level) maths, physics and chemistry

I should mention I am not 100% sure about Newcastle as I am considering opting for UCL or Manchester however accommodation in London is rather expensive and I like that I’d have a strong chance of an unconditional at Newcastle.

Have any of you been to open days? What is Newcastle like?

Hi milly,

Thats an interesting course choice!

Newcastle is a great city. Are you planning on going to an open day? That would be a brilliant opportunity to take a look around

Just got a conditional offer from Newcastle!
ABB if it’s my firm or AAB if it’s my insurance
Hi all - just got a conditional offer today! BBB (which is two grades below the standard entry requirements, so I'm chuffed).

Hi Utkarsh,

Congratulations on your places!

To answer your question, most universities do offer academic scholarships but the rules around who they give them out to differs from university to university. You are best contacting the university to ask them for a definite answer. It may be worth going on their official website and see if there is information around scholarships there too
