What other unis are you guys applying to? I’m doing Leicster, Liverpool and Manchester

OH WOW!!!

I am in shock. Birmingham have finally caved and published all their admission stats!
It shows that the cut off last year (with the new 60-40 GCSE-UCAT split) was still 8.1

I have not looked at it this year, but in previous years it said chance of interview from a score of over about 7, despite the cut off having been 8.1 for the last 3 years, so it is safer to actually work out your score and judge from that
Hi,

I got 8A*s 1A (Eng Lang) and a B (ICT)
UCAT 2670 band 1
Predicted A*A*A

Could i possibly get an interview?

Have you checked the contextual list? There are a LOT of schools on it (Birmingham say 90% of state schools)

You absolute star. Thank you.

Graduates are not scored in the same way as school leavers for A100. You need to meet minimum requirements and then they assess on UCAT alone, cut off last year 2590. They also say:
"The personal statement must describe evidence of a high level of commitment to medicine (particularly through voluntary experiences) and strong personal qualities, evidenced by significant and substantial extracurricular involvement"
