@James Smith 90 I have just completed and passed the personality profiler. Honestly, don't be intimidated! The statements are simple enough, and you have to indicate on the slider which is your preferred response/reaction in a situation. It is totally okay to leave the bar in the middle on some - maybe you don't know how you would respond, or neither course of action is drastically better/worse to you. If you do want to leave it in the middle, make sure to click the icon so the system registers your answer! As far as I can see, it almost tests your personality (duh) and values, and whether they correspond with NHS values. If you're particularly worried search for and read the NHS Leadership Academy's '9 Dimensions of Leadership', as well as the NHS constitution.

Good luck!!

Thank you so much, I will do and I'm going to go for it tomorrow and let you know what happens!

Does anyone know if they offer assistance for those with disabilities? I’m interested in the policy & strategy specialism but I struggle with reading numbers (I get them mixed up) so applying for the scheme seems kind of pointless especially when I would probably fail at the numerical reasoning.

As far as I remember, when you do the initial parts of the application (i.e. filling your name, eligibility to work etc.) they do ask if you have any additional needs/requirements. So you can likely go through that process and specify your requirements. It would be unfair for them to not accommodate. In any case, I would recommend beginning the process (if you have not already) and just stop before the tests begin. If nothing has come up for you to specify the additional requirements by that point, there will be an email for you to contact, in which they may be able to arrange something for you. Hope this helps.

Thank you very much for your help, I will start my application soon.
I've started my application and passed the situational strengths and personality profiler, It was very simple! I'm going to do the numerical reasoning later today and let you know how it was!
I had a question, once you pass all the tests do you automatically go through to the video interview or do they compare the test results and then get back to you?
How long did you wait between tests? I’ve just completed the SJT and it says it’s under review so I’m just wondering how long till it progresses to the personality profiler if I have passed?

If you pass it should automatically go to the next stage it shouldn't go under review

Oh ok, so weird because mine says my application is 'on hold'. You'd think they'd just say unsuccessful. Oh well, thanks for replying.

That happened to my friend too, she said after a couple of hours she checked and it said unsuccessful.
You're welcome.
Okay I've completed the initial application form and I'm now through to the online tests.

JUST TO BE COMPLETELY SURE, there is no extra time limit now that I've applied is there? Like with the civil service fast stream where they give you 5 days?

Excuse my anxiety! Haha.
I applied to the DHSC Fast Track Scheme as I already applied to the NHS March 2020 intake so will see if I can make it to the AC for either one this year.

I doubt there’ll be fractions. Focus on percentages.

You get 10 days to complete the tests

Thanks, I just did it there were some really simple addition and subtraction and I'm good with percentages but I thought I messed some questions up but I still passed don't know how to be honest as I thought one or two were complete guesses after I started panicking looking at the time. Have you completed all your tests, if so do you automatically go through to video interview or do the tests get compared ? Thanks

Addition and subtraction of fractions?

Don’t worry, I’m sure you did just fine. I’ve heard that it can take a day or two but you do get automatically invited to do a video interview and then get 10 days to do it.
