do you know what type of questions they are like are they the same every year
Also how do Southampton decide who to call for an interview I read somewhere it was based solely on PS and these q's
if so do they rank gcse and ucat
or do they have a minimum ucat and gcse scores

You read correctly. Southampton, for the BM6 Programme, bases their interview selection on the PS and three questions.

As long as you meet the minimum entry requirements for GCSE (5 grade C/4 or above including biology, chemistry, maths and English language and A levels (BBB), as well as have taken the UCAT then you’re fine. They don’t rank candidates by these requirements.

The UCAT is only used as a tie breaker between really similar candidates.
