What are storage proteins ?

Are they just proteins which store metal ions and amino acids ?

And when we say they store amino acids, do they actually have amino acids inside them or are the amino acids that make them up the amino acids that they're storing ?

Right, but how do they store them ? The amino acids for example , does the protein surround the Amino acids ? Or the proteins made of the Amino acids they 'store'?
