Maths Year 2 Recurrence Relations Question (Help Needed)

I'm stuck on this question about recurrence relations (Edexcel Exercise 3H Q4)
4. The sequence with recurrence relation uk+1=puk+q ,u1=5 where p is a constant and q=13, is periodic with order 2.
Find the value of p.
The answer is p=-1

The Solution bank has gotten a value of 10 from somewhere.

Obviously a typo. Both values should give period 2, but the sequences will be slightly different.
