iGCSE Edexcel History

Hi everyone.
I regret taking history with every figment of my being. I am in the second half of Y11 autumn term and we have only just finished paper one. I have not achieved my target grade (8/9) at all since Y9. In tests, I usually score a 6/7. At the end of Y10 I was panicking about this but by now, I've basically just come to terms with failure. I have been revising consistently for it, and in practise papers under timed conditions I get 8/9s. However, in tests I do the same thing and do crap. Has anyone got any tips at all?

try asking your teacher to model a specific test for you because they have probably once marked gcse history test in their life so they know how to model a test for you and what the examiner thinks.
