Will I get an offer from LSE

Hi, I am thinking of applying for economic history or economic history and economics at LSE. I am currently taking Maths, Economics and combined English Lang/Lit and am predicted A,A,B (Economics, English, Maths) although the entry requirements are AAB with an A in Maths. So I was wondering given my maths predicted grade is a B and the competitiveness of the university if there is any chance I will get an offer?
Honestly? I know that Economics involves a lot of math so most universities want an A in maths. LSE is very competitive and with only limited spaces on most courses, it will most definitely be difficult to get an offer from them.

There's no harm in applying but if your referee can bump your predicted to 3A's you may be at a greater advantage, hon.

Unfortunately I don't think I will be able to get it up to an A but thank you for the reply.

There's no harm in applying anyway, you do meet the entry requirements so you probably will be made an offer. I'm just saying LSE specifically specialises in Economics which is why I'm so torn.

If they state an A in Maths they will likely discount you immediately unless there are extenuating circumstances. If you had AAB with an A predicted in Maths, that still doesn't guarantee admission. LSE is very competitive.
Honestly, I don't want to put you down or anything but if they want AAB, with an A in mathematics, then yes - the fact that you're predicted a B will drastically decrease your chances of getting an offer. LSE is highly competitive & a lot of people applying would have A/A*s in mathematics, with many even doing further maths! If you really want a peace of mind, then yeah, just apply so that you know you tried. But if its going to be a waste of a UCAS space that you really need, then its not worth trying.
