'utterly betrayed': Britains Jews are now politically homeless

LOOK AT HIS ****ING PARTY!

It's depressing to see 1930s-style conspiracy theories that used to be the province of the fascist parties of Europe now spreading amongst the Left and being given so much credence. There has been a lamentable failure of education here, but also it shows how very effective the far right have been on the internet in spreading them. There are credulous people everywhere and in all parties and the web has been particularly effective at exposing them to ideas long since discredited and debunked.

As an orthodox girl im not actually allowed to be explicit but I've met a wonderful Jewish guy and we will soon marry once I finish my last year of study and internship so that explains why i am being rather coy regarding marriage! He is older than me and is the man I am utterly in love with.

Why would I as an orthodox girl be speaking to a muslim or christian man in a very friendly way anyway? Its a bit absurd because you cant expect me to go out and hunt for them and i wouldnt really want to.

You're encouraging intermarriages for the sole purpose of what exactly? Its not something religious jews do and even secular parents prefer their kids to marry jews. There wont be any jews left.

I was trying to understand your motivations since as a woman your children will be Jewish. Has your older man-friend met your parents? What do they think of him?

No, I don't expect you to go hunt for them. I’d rather that you keep your dignity and respect. I was curious whether you had these groups of people within your friendship circle, but it seems that you don't have them.

I am not explicitly encouraging intermarriages but think people should marry for love. Someone was insulting Ivanka Trump that her children will never been true Jews even though she converted and I felt bad for her. She seems to love her husband and they have a good family.

The article fails to point out the distinction between Jewdaism and Zionism. I am severely against the zionistic agenda which Israel are playing out. There are many Jews living in Israel who disagree with the acts of their government.

Labour has always been anti-zionism, purely because of how the agenda is carried out. The brutal displacement of Palestinians, the unjust murders etc. It was amazing back when George Galloway was an MP. He was an amazing advocate of freedom and justice for the Palestinian people. Ever since, people have used this anti-Zionism and blurred it with anti-semitism. Standard political games. The politicians screaming anti-semitism know exactly what they are doing and that fools will be fooled by their strawman.

It's just another article screaming the world is against us, the Jew. Dismal effort trying to play the victim as usual.

Still waiting for the answer.. If you cannot answer, then you've failed to prove your point.

Imagine your teacher answering "find it yourself" everytime you ask a question.

Wait, you want me to prove Corbyn is an anti-semite or the Labour Party as a whole?

Both pls. I'm asking this out of genuine curiosity, not a challenge. I've heard him called an anti semite many times, but never any occasion proving he is one. So pls do enlighten me.

Right, well if you had been paying attention, I personally was referring exclusively to the Labour party’s record with anti-semitism.

Do I think that Corbyn is anti-Semitic? No.

When he took Labour’s reins, he was faced with a party absolutely riddled with anti-semitism.

There’s currently an investigation being carried out on it by the EHRC:

“Two sources said the discussion was quickly ‘shut down’ by party officials and allies of Jeremy Corbyn, and that the committee remains in the dark about the potential financial implications.”

You see, although I do not believe Corbyn to be anti-Semitic, it is logical that Jewish members of Labour feel differently.

If Corbyn doesn’t sort this out, and if he manages to win this general election, they’ll be a huge black cloud covering his government.

Can you give me specific events and cases where Labour has been unjust, specifically targeting Jews (not Zionists)? The article merely states that there is an ongoing investigation. And according to you, its blatently prevolant and present, so a few cases shouldn't be hard?

So, what do you know about "Jewdaism"?

I think you need to change your way of debating when it comes to the jewish people. You're so used to criticising islam that you apply the same approach to israel and jews but its not the same since Jewishness isnt a belief we are a people, an ethnoreligion.

Why? It is based solely on reason and evidence. My claim that robust criticism of Israeli policy and support for Palestinian rights is not "anti-semitism" is exactly the came whether I am talking to a Jew, Muslim, Christian or atheist. My argument has nothing to do with anyone's ethnicity or faith.

Hmm, interesting definition of "proof" you have there.
I shall now give you proof that Corbyn is not an anti-Semite...
LOOK AT HIS ****ING PARTY!

See how easy that was?
(So to sum up - you don't have any proof that Corbyn is an anti-semite)

This gets us no further. The accusations and claims of "anti-semitism" are meaningless without detail and context. What, specifically, has been said and who said it? I have yet to see anything that even remotely suggests that the PLP has done or said anything that could be construed as "anti-semitic". If you have such details, please present them.
The Labour Party has half a million members and many more active supporters so that is bound to include some people with objectionable views, but it does not follow that because of this "tHe LaBoUr PaRtY iS aNtI-SeMiTiC"

It's a small, but enthusiastic group who follow a Jewish chap from Prestatyn called David, as opposed to the various other Davids from that town.

Exactly lmao, this is my point.

People are brainwashed by politicians screaming "AnTi-SeMiTe" for the sake of political advantage. But squel when challenged to prove it.

To the brainwashed: Learn the distinction between Judaism and Zionism.

If people like you despise Israel as a state, what do you want done with that land? do you want it all given to Palestinian people or do you want Jews to also live there. Also, do you regard Hamas as a political representative of the Palestinian people and do you see it as a terrorist group or do you not see it as a terrorist group?

It's not like that hasnt been the state of affairs for the past few centuries.
Also, do you regard Hamas as a political representative of the Palestinian people

Of course it is, you dont have to like them or their politics to note they were freely and fairly elected
and do you see it as a terrorist group or do you not see it as a terrorist group?

The two are not mutually exclusive although calling it a militant group would be more apt.

I despise the way the Israeli government disregards international law, the brutality towards Palestinians who are forced out saying, if you don't get out, this bulldozer will destroy your house with you in it, not even mentioning that they are escorted by armed men. Disgusting violation of human rights and international law.

What do I want done with the 'stolen land'? Give it back? And no, I don't like Hamas also, but I understand that without their existence, the corrupt Israeli gov would've already steamrolled their way through Palestine, killing thousands in the process.
