Bolivia has broken the glass ceiling and has its first female president, after the resignation of the former president, former vice-president, and former president of the senate.

Only on an interim basis due to succession so one can hardly say the glass ceiling has been broken, wait until they actually elect a woman before claiming the "glass ceiling" is broken

Well it needs breaking first, and even if you buy the glass ceiling crap that feminists constantly use as an excuse for their personal failure a woman being elevated to position x via a technicality is not breaking it unless it actually leads to widespread advancement. The simple fact of the matter is that normally when we hear about "the glass ceiling being broken" it has either already been broken for a long time, or it is yet to be broken. Odds are when an event happens in the news it isn't the ceiling being broken; it's been over a decade since Obama broke the glass ceiling for blacks and yet it's almost as if it was never broken because nothing appears to have changed and then three years ago Clinton broke it for women by being the Democratic candidate despite there being a number of powerful women in US politics before her.

Odds are this is the former, people like you arbitrarily declare the "glass ceiling" to be broken with absolutely nothing changing.

What are you talking about? Obama being elected eliminated racism in the US immediately.

I am patiently waiting for the first female dictator so everyone can use it as an example as why female leaders do not work. Eg. socailism doesnt work because stalin. Q.E.D. Socialism = Stanlinism = mass genecoide = evil socialism = Jeremy Corbyn and Bernie Sanders are worse then Stalin.

Fun fact. If, when Mao Zedong died Lady Mao become chairman then it is very possible she would of carried on his policies and gone even further.

Another fun fact. Mao Zedong was a feminist. In that he thought men and women should work equally as hard. I think he showed a little lenicancy in regards to pregancy but I might be wrong. Either way being a equally treated malnorusihed woman during the great leap forward could not have been fun.

He was removed by the Bolivian people. It was a revolution, and shows that socialist policies have little support except for the middle class, Guardian readers.

If you don't know anything about the subject, keep quiet or learn about it. He was re-elected by the Bolivian people, the head of the army then demanded his resignation and arrest

If the CIA wanted to remove him, they would've done it ages ago. His anti-Americanism has been going on for a very long time (and with good reasons).
