Why Edinburgh if I may ask? Unless of course, if you're fixated on Scots law.

Most IITs/NLUs as well as AIIMS are sh*t competitive to get into whilst rendering top notch academia at the same time. Most Indian Universities may suck but the segregation made by the OP are all very fine institutions.
Anyone doing maths, Physics or Economics CIE A levels?

WOAH. I'm from Agra too.
Could you slide me a DM?
I'm just wondering, do you have any fundings for your courses? Since you're from India, you will pay about £20000 on average.

Well aware xD. I dont speak for everyone but my parents have saved up enough to keep me set for the next three years. I am also applying for scholarships and have already received one even though I'm not in dire need of it.

A lot more than that if you factor the living costs too.
There aren't a lot of UG scholarships so I suppose either the applicants are supremely affluent or they've consented to be a part of a viscous debt trap.
Anyone from Chennai?

Course: Bsc psychology
Unis: Bath, Sheffield, Queen Mary, Essex, Goldsmiths
Board: CBSE
Offers received: offers from all except Sheffield and Bath (waiting for bath to respond)

Why UK?: I want to leave India mainly because of the kind of exposure I’ll get in the uk, it’ll be good for my confidence and also because Indian institutions are all about grades whereas in the uk you actually apply your knowledge about the subject without rote learning basically everything
