Yes I'm doing an apprenticeship. I'm being paid not the apprenticeship wage, I'm being paid normal minimum wage.

I'm glad you have said that as a friend of mine with a teaching degree is currently on the dole whereas I am not.

I'm only 6 months into my apprenticeship and I have already moved up within the company so who knows. I am in a well paying stable job so I'm got a wee while to decide.

I have a job. You shouldn't let you teachers fill you with all that degree rubbish, it isn't the be all and end all. My friend who has a teaching degree but is on the dole.

My friend SHE was in uni she finished 5 years ago. She has been on the dole ever since then.
