Dentistry Work Experience

Do dentists take in students for work experience? If they do, how old do I have to be to do it there?

I am not sure if all dentists would, but I definitely know that some do. I have not applied to study dentistry but knew a few people who did apply to study dentistry and they mentioned getting work experience with dentists.

Just found these few pages online on the Medicportal, I hope they are helpful:

A good thing to do is probably look on your local NHS board website to see if they have possible programmes listed- or work experience you can apply too, e.g. NHS greater Glasgow and Clyde say that they take S4-S6 pupils for dentistry work experience.
