I didn't get what he meant

I was talking to a pal about some updates on some people we knew.

He informed me of one perticular woman who was once blonde dying her hair purple.
I said 'why she do that I wonder' and he said 'I think depression or something'.

What he mean? He usually is always right and is a qualified pyscologist.

I only asked why as she's a natural blonde.

maybe she just wants a change i know i girl who had blonde hair then dyed it black then ginger then black again

He probably meant that its such a big change from blonde to purple that she could be depressed and it's a cry for attention maybe?

I personally don't see anything wrong with it myself.

No I agree there's absolutely nothing wrong with her dying her hair.
