I motivate myself by giving myself little rewards - I do an hour of (productive) studying (i.e. not procrastinating for an hour) and then I go get myself some chocolate or I play some CS:GO for 15 minutes or something like that. I like chocolate and I like CS:GO so it's pretty good motivation
Usually I watch a motivational video on YouTube, Think back to why I'm working so hard in the first place, or if i simply cannot get productive i will take a few hours to chill and reset so that I'm ready to go and can focus later on. however this can be risky as sometimes it can beget alot of procrastination!!
Low energy...yep that happens every once in a while so i do stuff that wakes up my brain? Like reading horror or suspense or start bugging my sis or sing ol kiddy hype song? cuz that could rush up adrenaline the low blow of it is that it could become a path for crasting too so i put timer
To motivate myself, I just think about the future, think about the rewards that I can get if I do revise now. I think about how life would be like if I don't revise which is terrible and I think about how life would be like if I do revise to motivate myself. In addition to that, I watch YouTube videos where I hear about success stories when people started to revise so therefore it will bring me up from low energy to start to revise. If I am on low energy I eat something as well to boost me up!
When i have low energy i promise myself that after let's say 3 more pages of a revision book or 30 minutes i will give myself a break or a treat. If that doesn't work then i change the way i learn, host a quiz show and quiz myself.
You canโt be motivated if youโre working in your bedroom. Go to a library, look around at all the other keenos studying their behinds off and get stressed that youโre the only one thatโs not killing themselves over work.
If Iโm low on motivation I need to walk away and do something else. Anything, tv, music, read, phone a friend. Warm drink and healthy snack. I allow myself 30-60 minutes. It is enough to refocus and get back to it
During A-level revision I just knew when I was done for the day and stopped after that. I took regular short breaks while revising just so that I wouldn't grow sick of it. It worked.
You can also berate yourself in your mind for not revising but this is the less mentally healthy option
I try and find a really short task I could do, like read through half a page or write 3 flashcards (or even just organise something). Sometimes that motivates me to do more, sometimes I just give up after that but at least I did something.
If it's just burnout, I'll pick it up the next day. Otherwise thinking where I want to be and what I need it for is always sufficient motivation in the end. For people for whom it isn't, I wonder whether they really want that thing.
I have a bunch (read a lot) of different methods: - If you have read my GYG, you'll know that I have this app called Study Bunny. You get a coin for every 10 minutes you study and you can buy stuff with those coins. They made a new update today where the Bunny has a happiness meter where you have to get coins to keep the happiness meter full. So far this has motivated me to keep studying and concentrate. - When I genuinely can't concentrate, I listen to a few motivational songs. One of them is Mixtape #3 by Stray Kids (its kpop btw). These songs really help me get back on track.
"Blessings wait for you."

- Staying in your room won't always help you with studying so I go out for a 20-minute walk while listening to music and just enjoying the scenery and the people walking by. If you don't want to go outside just do some physical activity for a while. For example, I dance for half an hour or so and it just refreshes me a lot. - I guess the last thing is to reward yourself with something. So I have a lot of videos on my Watch Later on YT and I would love to get rid of them...by watching them. I tell myself to finish a few more minutes, pages, paragraphs of revision or essay-writing and after I finish them, I watch a video or two. You can reward yourself with a snack or a book or something you really like to do or watch.
