Dating after university

Never been in a relationship and graduating this year. Hoping to settle down with someone after I graduate. What is dating like after uni? Is it through dating apps or more in person?

Thanks!

I found after I graduated from Uni, alot more doors opened on the dating scene.
Never had the need for dating apps or clubs.
I was fortunate enough to have a very good circle of friends who were very sociable, and took me with them to bars, clubs etc.
Although I am currently single I have certainly met some nice men in the past.
Dont know what your sexuality is? But regardless I'm sure you will have no problems.
Good luck. X

Really, only Tinder works (which is mainly for hookups)?
Most of my friends are not in relationships.
Tru, but what about people outside of work?

I found work and post uni hobbies a much richer and more normal socialising ground than uni. I then met my partner through a uni friend who I kept in touch with. For some reason I found uni was a very claustrophobic and intense experience in relation to dating and it was rather a frustrating 'water water everywhere but not a drop to drink experience'. You also have more disposable income for socialising when in work. Good luck.
You would be surprised how many people are actually single outside of university. The guy I am now seeing after breaking up with my university boyfriend is from work and he just approached me out of the blue. While I wouldn’t necessarily recommend getting with someone at work, you don’t need to worry that there are no single people out there. Just put yourself out there and go out of your way to meet people. Good luck!

Yes people outside of work is a good option, but how exactly do you go about meeting people outside work? That’s what a lot of people struggle with after leaving uni. Depends on you as an individual: what else are you involved in, how sociable are you outside work and do you actually make an effort to meet new people that you don’t know from uni?
