I know like one or two people who r into metal 😪...what genre u into and what bands do u listen to??
👹🤘🏼

Metallica are one of my favourite bands but i won't go any heavier than Thrash/Speed metal.
Jungle Rot , Decapitated, Death , Megadeth, Linkin Park, A7X , Within Destruction, Aborted, Belphegor, Obituary - idk man just a handful of the bands I like that I could think of off the top of my head. Been obsessed with metal for 5 years now I think (time flies when you're headbanging) . Best moment was seeing Obituary and Megadeth at Bloodstock in 2016.

I still listen to metal from time to time, but not as much as I used to.

Love symphonic metal; Nightwish, Epica, Within Temptation.
Still listen to a few of the bands I used to though, Scar Symmetry are forever my favourite. Love Arch Enemy, Amon Amarth, Disarmonia Mundi, Trivium.

Used to love Avenged before they became some Metallica-esque band.

Loved SS when Christian was with them and I thought their two vocalists after him were both crap

Bit of a Christian fanboy, tbh, I like his black metal stuff since, too. Got a couple of albums, both 1/200 pressed

Ooh I'm the same! The other two were alright, but considering Christian could do both cleans and harsher vocals yet still sound better than the other two was quite impressive, haha. At least he went out on a bang though, Holographic Universe was probably their best album imo.

Ah the nostalgia... Pretty sure I spent most of my teen years getting frustrated at trying to learn Dreaming 24/7 on guitar.

Not heard his later stuff though, is he with a new band now or is it more a solo thing?

Yep. love that album even now!

He did a solo pop album (believe it or not) which actually isn't bad if you are into the 80s kinds soft pop kinda stuff, and has another one due out (not ordered that cos I am skint!). He;s done a load with Solution .45 which is just straightforward melodeath, really, and Svavelvinter (his BM project) have a few things out including a full length... Which I also haven't ordered but am going to as soon as money allows!

Of course it's sweaty... good music is hard work. Used to finish my gigs drenched in it... just like Bach.

The flying V is not a virtuoso instrument either... more like a club. Bit like when I raced against a Ferrari in Leicester City centre... I was in a 405 diesel estate but I won. Eat my fumes!

No
Yarp! Mainly black and folk (not so much the 'yo ho ho and a bottle of rum' type, although that's OK if I'm in the right mood).
