How can I get a first in a psychology essay?

So I’ve got an essay and I really wanna get a first on it but I don’t really know know how to. The lecture slides have so many relevant information So I don’t know which to use and which not to use :/

It's better to have a narrow, well focused argument than a broad, vague one.

Absolute number one thing to remember is to BE CRITICAL. Don't accept findings from studies at face value, but think about limitations. Form a strong argument based on cited evidence as well as your own knowledge.
