We had sex for the first time. He pushed me on the bed and when he was on top of me before the sex began, he kept staring at me for at least a few seconds. It was like intense staring for 10-15 seconds and then he went straight into kissing etc.

No we had sex for the first time. It has never happened before but even before we kiss, he does stare at me intensely then goes in for the kiss

He just kept looking st me. It was such an intense eye contact. Usually I cannot look into his eyes for that long because they are very piercing but I had to because he was so close to my face.
I tried asking him but he just blushed and walked away?

first time, he was probably nervous & needed a few seconds to compose himself.
Staring is completely normal. I personally see it as a good thing. But as previously said, talk to them about it.
