Not achieving the grades for uni..

Hi all,

What happens if you do not achieve the grades needed for university?

I need 112 (two distinctions and three merits) but I’m curious to know what happens if I do not achieve this, is that it or would I be able to get in providing I get the merits?

It’s for adult nursing, specifically the university of Sunderland 🙂

Thank you

What qualification is that?
The normal ones with merits and distinction are based on 3 letters?
DMM is 112 points.
If you dont make the offer, then they see how many spare places they have and consider the near misses based on you application, part of which will be how close you are too the offer and ext circs. Closer you are the better. You might get in and you might not.

Hi, I'm on an Access to health and social care too, and I was told if I don't get the required grades then I can always apply through clearings. Hope that helps

Hi Molly,

You'll need 112 UCAS points, these can be any combination from the results of your course and don't necessarily need to specifically be two distinctions and three merits.
If we are your first choice, it's worth getting in touch with us when you receive you results for further clarification on next steps. We will try out best to accommodate you and will let you know of all the options available.

Hope this helps!
