Can ITT be deferred?

I'm in an 3-year undergraduate ITT course for QTS, but am planning to take a gap year or even transfer to something else for my undergrad. Would I be able to retain my credits for this first year if i choose to continue my ITT in the future?

This is something you'll need to talk to your uni about, but AFIAK there is a time limit on getting all your ITT stuff done. I would suggest that most postgrad ITT courses don't really work in such a way as to be able to accept ITT credits from another course in this way- there would be assignments where you'd need data/experience from your placement to talk about, and it would be difficult to do this if you didn't have a first placement as you had transferred over credits.

But do discuss it with your uni as they might be able to help you.
