Does this mean jobs will be freed up?

No. The majority of EU citizens will still continue to live in the U.K. after Brexit and will retain their jobs. Also, many companies are relocating to Mainalnd Europe to stay in the single market, which will make many UK workers redundant. And even if jobs were ‘freed up’ this would cripple many industries such as the NHS, construction, transport and education.

If you mean that jobs will be freed up because they won't exist any more, then yes.

Our EU membership was the only thing that was stopping an asteroid from hitting Earth and wiping us all out. We're doomed amirite.

Let's not start this again. The remainers and brexiteers on here are only just starting to calm down.

Nah, majority of people will continue to work where they are. Some people moved away cause of brexit. Some business closed up. But eh.

In the interest of balance new jobs have been created due to brexit as well.
Brexit is a disrupting force. That's not a good or bad thing it is just a fact.
New opportunities are created and previous good business plans begin to become unviable.
Also everytime a company goes bust the CEOs love to blame anyone but themselves. They do not want to admit that they was at fault.
Brexit was not to blame for Toys R US closing. Neither was it to blame for Thomas Cook closing. They were run into the ground because they would not modernise.

Bleh, now you got me started.

Triple nationality that includes British nationality. Imagine thinking being a British citizen doesn’t make you British.

So why isn't he "Irish" then?
A Canadian with a British passport doesn't make him "British" if he never renounced his Canadian citizenship. It just makes him a Canadian with additional British citizenship.

Forecasts of impending disaster are not always wrong.
