how to learn organic chemistry

Hi there :hello:
It's very difficult to learn organic chemistry, it depends on how you best learn. Everyone is different.
Some like revision cards, mind maps, sometimes things like Quizlet or Memrise are quite good!
I've popped your thread into Chemistry :fyi:
Is there anything in particular you find quite challenging in organic chemistry? What is your study level?

Cheers :ta:
Practise questions, first with notes and then without.
Test yourself on things like mechanisms.
Maybe make a Quizlet for reactions you need to learn.

Practise really is the best revision. Do as many practise questions as you can.

I agree with the person above. Organic chemistry is a very new concept to learn, so try your best to learn the theory (e.g. names of reactions, conditions) and then practice drawing them from exam questions.

It comes with time. I still find it difficult and I am in my 2nd year of uni.
