VAG stuff. I keep on buying them though
Anything over £5000.

Maybe anything over £1000?
the cars themselves are usually not overpriced, but insurance and **** for them... YES
You're buying over a ton of metal, a machine that can go overland faster than any animal.
The faster it goes, the bigger it is or the more complex it is the more it costs.
they are commonplace but that doesn't make them any less amazing.

a horse for comparison is WAY overpriced.

Think about the insurance being not for the cost of repairs of the vehicle but the cost of looking after yourself or someone else that is severely injured in an accident.

You are paying a few hundred or possibly a thousand pound a year to cover what could be well over £1M in costs to look after someone severely disabled in an accident, medical costs, adaptation of their house etc.

true.
true.
so we have narrowed it down to tax and mot's
Lamborghini. I'm not someone who dithers about in a bland boring ****box making snide remarks at anyone with a nice car, but they suck. They cost 3x more than any equivilant, and yet break down every week, handle like crap and depreiciate like crazy, and when Chris harris said this they banned him from reviewing their cars. If you have 300k to spend why not buy a McLaren for 120k and get a nicer, faster, more reliable car.
Most car manufacturers on this country are over priced.
