i apppied to dundee glasgow qmu for education studies then qmu primary and aberdeen, got an interview for aberdeen but didn’t go because i know i won’t go to that uni anyways (too far away), got an offer for education studies so that’s my go to unless i get an offer from the qmu primary course, got rejected from dundee and glasgow as expected as didn’t have the maths grades required...

Awww I see ! I’m the same, rejected from Glasgow for not having maths! Never even thought to apply for the primary at QMU as well! Yeah Aberdeen is pretty far from me too, I just thought if they let me in without having maths and it’s an MA I’ll have to go 😭 fingers crossed for you though!!

As far as I’m aware no they don’t. I’ve also applied and heard they only offer 15 spaces per specialism. Does anyone know if this is true? It’s apparently why they take longer than others to reply because they are heavily influenced by grades and personal statement. What specialism have you applied for?

That is true regarding 15 spaces. I’ve applied for inclusive studies and literacy.

I haven't heard back and I don't know anyone who's heard back either. It's so frustrating waiting to hear back :frown:

I'm probably being impatient but it sucks having heard from so many and having to wait on only one or two. What course did you apply to at Stirling?

Some girls that had the interview the same day have had replies about being unsuccessful so I’m a bit nervous because I know I’ll find out soon. I’m also waiting on QMU and Stirling. I’ve heard of QMU rejections being sent out but don’t know of any offers yet. Hopefully we aren’t waiting much longer!

Some girls that had the interview the same day have had replies about being unsuccessful so I’m a bit nervous because I know I’ll find out soon. I’m also waiting on QMU and Stirling. I’ve heard of QMU rejections being sent out but don’t know of any offers yet. Hopefully we aren’t waiting much longer!

Aww no! I actually did this when I first applied but realised and managed to contact the university to change it. I hope you get it sorted!

I had an interview at Aberdeen last week too, and havent heard anything either, but they did say at my interview that they tended to get out the rejections quicker than the offers, so I guess that’s probably good? Still slightly stressed though cause I got my offer from Glasgow within like two days, but then it took a month for my Dundee rejection to come through. Has anyone heard back from Strathclyde yet?

Yeah I applied to Stirling, QMU, Glasgow Dumfries and Strathclyde, I applied to Aberdeen but had to withdraw. Haven't had any offer yet though just an interview for Glasgow, where have you heard back from?
