Student Finance Repeating a year extenuating cirucmstances

Hi everyone,

I am repeating a year on my course, and it is my second repeat year. I have been paying my tuition fees myself till this point. There were personal reasons relating to mental health for why I had to repeat this year and I want to apply for another year of funding.

I have collected all the evidence I want to send and written a letter explaining my situation last year and why I should be given an extra year of funding.

But the problem is that I've been searching the student finance website but cant find the page on applying for extenuating circumstances, so I don't know what I need to send off and to where.

If someone could kindly post the link that could take me to the relevant pages, I would really appreciate it.

You mean a compelling personal reasons claim.

They want medical evidence i.e from your GP.
This has the details.
