Potential Renewable Energy

I was thinking why isnt any move made to make the photosynthesis mechanism into large scale way to energy production?
I do know photosynthesis deals with ATP which is exclusive to biotic stuffs

BUT...

I thought it still could be modified and modelled to something practical?

Idk where to post this lol its a hybrid of biology and physics? :dontknow:

You are referring to biofuels which then push up the price of staple foods/ decreases land availability which in turn decreases the ability of others on this planet to eat.

PV solar is already available at an off the shelf efficiency that exceeds what Photosynthesis can.

The open university have a free module on renewables and I commend your interest.
