A-Level Textile ESA exam theme ideas?

I'm starting my new theme for my a-level textile course and we have to think of a theme with "Change and/or stability" and I'm really struggling to find a good enough theme any ideas?

How about a study in felt making. The change for fibres to felt, something fragile to more stable. You could explore different felt structures and types. Not sure if this is what they have in mind.... But look luck with your project.
