What were you applying for? What were you resitting?
Yess I’ve been waiting for people who are resitting. I’m just worried people who are resitting like me will get discriminated if unis will use predicted grades and so my offer for medicine will get revoked ( I’ve been predicted AAA ) Surely they can’t eject us if we have a firmed offer ? If worst comes to worst it would only be fair we keep our offer but have to retake it next year.

That would give you 2 years of people going to uni at once. Cancelling exams is a bad idea.
Yep totally agree. That’s why I’m hoping their postponing to September or something

I am also resitting, I'm honestly so confused right now, is anyone else going to continue with their revision?

surely not - isn’t there some sort of contract formed between you and the uni as soon as you firm? of course this depends on you actually meeting the offer but these are abnormal times! i agree with that last part on how unis may proceed with admissions - i suppose having an extra year will make us all experts?

people saying all sorts like mock grades will be used or teachers will have to redo predicted grades and send in evidence of tests etc. But what about private candidates that are resitting. It's stressful not knowing what's going on

totally relate - i’ve just gotten so used to doing nothing but revision all day that i don’t know what else i’ll do. it’s not like going outdoors/socialising is a better alternative at the moment. i think i’ll still do a bit of revision bc i don’t want to lose all the progress i’ve made but i’m definitely gonna take it easy

OMGGG I'm so glad I came across this thread! I'm so pissed off tbh. Like it's bad enough having to take a year out to work hard and retake (already going uni a year later) now this!? Could the timing get any better?

I've just lost motivation. Like I know there's no point saying this now but I'm just like "why did I not take A levels seriously?" I had two years to get them and now this happens....

Do schools even have evidence to support our predictions? I know for a fact I would've performed better in this years exams. I understand that year 13's predictions will be decided mostly by the teachers but I have no clue what's happening with us. Never expected this to happen :s-smilie:

I think despite all of us feeling the way we do it's important for us to all calm down, keep on working hard and not see our efforts as a waste and bear in mind that the exams may happen nothing has been clarified yet but there's a possibility that we MAY still sit them.

Let's not let this ruin all that we are capable of and have worked hard for. WE CAN DO THISSSS!

I think my predictions were very realistic, how does everyone else feel about theirs, would we all be happy if that was the case?

Honestly I completely agree, I don't want to be wasting any time just incase, there's nothing we can do now.
