Nothing.

Thanks to feminist inspired laws that protect false rape accusers, his accusers will remain anonymous, protected from any consequence, encouraging more to do the same.

Their victim, Mr Salmond, on the other hand, even though he's been found innocent, he will carry on walking around with a question mark on top of his head. His career will be severely hurt. His personal life will be severely hurt. His life will be destroyed in so many different ways.

That's British justice for you.

The funniest thing about this story is that feminists like always claim that women don't lie about rape...yet here we have 9 women all lying about being raped by the same man at the same time...Feminists also always say that when there are so many women claiming that a man raped them that they can't be lying ...yet, here the courts have ruled that all 9 lied about being raped. Hence, the courts have totally cleared him of any wrongdoing against any of these 9 women.

Feminism has made false rape accusations highly rewarding. It's time this country put an end to this by implementing laws that seriously punish false rape accusers and feminist groups that promote and protect their interests.

He may have been cleared of the rape charges, but he's now labelled as a slimy, opportunistic, skin crawling predator.

Sh1t sticks.

Just because he was found not guilty doesn't mean he was innocent and it doesn't mean they were lying.

Worddd! Overzealous feminism is becoming toxic.
As said above, him being found not guilty isn't quite the same as it being proved that the accusers lied.

However, what is true is that the accused should have their identities protected in all court cases.

Do you mean all criminal cases, all criminal cases that involve charges with sexual offences or all legal cases?
Being devils advocate here, dont you ever think there's no smoke without fire!!!!
We need anonymity for defendants.

I would think it reasonable that all defendants in court cases (not just sexual assault cases) should have anonymity until they are found guilty.
I am not surprised by this. It seemed like BS when it first surfaced.

First, it's important to note that what you have written, particularly regarding "the courts have ruled that all 9 lied about being raped", is fallacious. The courts did not rule regarding any lying - instead, they ruled explicitly that Salmond was 'not guilty'. This 'not guilty' verdict is not the same as complete innocence, with Salmond himself admitting that some of his conduct is regrettable. However, let's assume innocence for a moment. If a precedent was set that in a rape case, a 'not guilty' verdict should result in the female being locked up for lying, is this not a huge disincentive for women to come forward and report rape cases? It is incredibly hard to prove rape or sexual assault because it is about consent, which is difficult to conclude in a he-said-she-said argument that lacks substantive evidence. Therefore, we shouldn't punish women unless they obviously and clearly lied. A not guilty verdict is not innocence, and whilst it is a shame that Salmond will be socially punished because this will leave a question mark over his credibility, we shouldn't be punishing the women. Not guilty is not the same as squeaky clean innocence.

Garbage like this is precisely why we need anonymity.

(Although you are completely correct that the court certainly did not rule that the women lied.)

You call it garbage but then you say its right?

This would only dissuade false accusers.

Yet, we are punishing men despite the fact that they are not guilty. This case is proof conclusive of that. Why the double standards?

a not guilty verdict is not innocence

Nobody said that it was. He was investigated then taken to trial and he was found not guilty of ALL charges. Now, we do the same to those women, investigate them and take them to trial. We expose their identity if they are proven to have lied we punish them and if not we let them go free...and yeah if they suffer any form of social abuse then yeah its a shame but what can you do about it right?... Equality right?

EDIT: I just had a thought...if a not guilty verdict does not mean innocence, what does that make of 'innocent until proven guilty'? Is your comment not evidence of men being guilty until proven innocent in cases of rape, at least on a cultural level?

How could you prove they lied? Unless they never had sexual contact how could you prove it.
And if you put a thing that said

And if you put a presidence that if someone is found not guilty the accusers would face jail, no one would report crime. Common sense, not just the false accusers, because get this, not every criminal is found guilty. And so you get some instances where someone is right in the accusation but the perpetrator is found not guilty. Why would someone report when they could, by no fault of their own, be put on trial for lying when there could've just been a lack of evidence.

How could you prove the women said the truth without "proper" evidence...

You can't, that's why it's innocent until proven guilty. I am confused by the point of your post.
