As I asked the other thread about Christianity.

Why Islam? Why not any other religion? Where you born into it?

Hi there. Thank you for the opportunity. Do you think laws should treat all religions as equal (secular) or should one religion have a privileged position making all the other religions secondary?

Do you think that changing your religion from Islam should be punished by death?

Do you think that Women should have equal rights in law to Men?

Do you think that freedom of expression of the individual is more important than Islam's wish to prevent individuals from drawing pictures of certain historical people?

Do you think the laws of morality have changed during the last thousand years or two, or have they remained the same?

Who decides how to interpret books? The individual or the hierarchy of priests who tell the individual what the message is?

Do you believe in love? If you fell in love with someone with different beliefs to you, how would you respond?

Is logic more important than feelings?

Under what circumstances can someone tell someone else what to do in the bedroom?

Under what circumstances can someone tell someone else what they choose to eat/drink?

Should the individual have the right to choose what they wish to wear?
I’d love to know more about your religion!! What can and can’t you do ?

Yea, I was born into religion.

So why Islam and not any other religion? Just because you were born into it?
If you were a Muslim and was struggling with your sexuality, yet you knew Islam forbids homosexuality- what would you do?
If you had no attraction to men:frown:
And your family didn't want you to stand single and you did couldn't hurt them

Its not just that I was born into. For me Islam is a very wholesome religion, it covers all aspects of life that others dont. For example, Islam sets out the 'rules for war', whereas in Christianity does not.

How do you feel about Muhammed marrying a child? Whether you belive she was 9 or 13, still a child.

And you believe in it, because it covers more ground?

Lets get one thing very clear, Islam does not forbid homosexuality. Attraction to the opposite sex is a feeling and cannot be stopped. The Quran does not forbid homosexuality and most of the arguments against it come from the hadith.

How do you feel about moses marrying a child? Whether you belive she was 9 or 13, still a child.

And you believe in it, because it covers more ground?

Islam doesn't believe that Moses married a child. I believe this idea came from Judeo- Christian sources.

Unfortunately your wrong on that aspect homosexuality is completely wrong in Islam and was one of the main reasons Allah destroyed the people of Lut (he was a prophet)

And Hadith is regarded in very highly so you cant disregard what is said as like prayer Allah has commanded it but the hadith is where we find how to properly perform it and what the actions and words we have to say are.
what's your favourite thing about islam?

p.s. random thought but mosques are so beautiful  i love their architecture!
Do you prefer rabbits or cats as pets?

If you want to look at the hadith, the Prophet pbuh did not prescrible a legal punishment for homosexual acts.

1) Under Islamic rule all religions must be treated fairly and cannot be punished for their beliefs. However, as we see in the UK and many other countries some religions are scrutinized and discriminated much more than others giving people a negative view upon them.

2) As of right now nobody who changes religion from Islam can be punished by death as there are no real Islamic states which can issue a death penalty but under the state yes, however there are very certain criteria and a judging system needed to ensure that it is a fair and just punishment. What you hear about Saudi chopping peoples hands of is completely wrong and against Islam as first of all they ain't ruling by Islam and secondly they don't use the Islamic criteria to judge the person justly.

3) No i don't believe they should as women from the foundation are different to men anatomically and mentally so cannot be treated completely equally. However they should not be discriminated and rather than equality we should use equity so we base stuff of a persons situation rather than treating people equally just as you wouldn't treat someone who is physically disabled the same and someone who isn't, you would tailor to their needs.

4) Freedom of expression is a false and unjust system so we cannot use it at all tbh. If i have freedom of expression why cant i go around beating people up or swearing at people without a consequence or punishment from the law/police? Because there are limits and laws needed to keep order and peace in a society so you cant just give people complete freedom of society would be chaotic.

5) The laws of morality have changed however morality itself hasn't as people have been given a fake 'freedom' which makes certain individuals believe they can say and do whatever they want, however from a morality point of view its wrong and always has been just like stealing its always been wrong but now because of 'freedom' some people believe its ok as they are doing what they want and what makes them happy.

6) Love is part of a human nature and i do believe its a real thing, but so is lust therefore i believe love cannot be simply form looking but to do with the personality of the person and the bond you make with them. And to do with them coming from a different faith i have no issue as long as we can talk about it and discuss it. I'd eventually hope we would both follow the same religion as if you believe your religion is right and the best thing for humanity why wouldn't you want your spouse to be apart of it if you actually love them.

7) I believe logic is more important than feelings, but feelings cannot be totally disregarded, as we are humans therefore we have emotions and need to express them and follow them since they are a part of our nature and without expressing them it would lead to people being sad/depressed as they cannot satisfy their needs. And i think logic and rules are there to tell you how to express these feelings in the right way as if you express these feeling in the wrong way such as a rapist or murderer people will be hurt and society will be affected and hurt.

8) ( This is all the final 3 questions) Well you are always controlled at what can happen in the bedroom/what you can wear/ what you can eat or drink in one way or another if not by religion by the government. You cant just have sex with a 10 year old if your 20 in your bedroom can you so therefore you are controlled at what you can do in the bedroom. Also, why cant you walk around naked without being fined and judged cuz its your choice isn't it? So if you can follow all the rules and regulations made by the government who are HUMANS who arent perfect why cant people follow the rules of God who is the perfect creator and knows whats better for you than yourself?

I know that but the Quran and Sharia law (Allah's Law) which has been extracted from the Quran and hadith does have the specific ruling and punishment about homosexuality
