How to read visitor messages?

Click on the notification and it's just coming up with my profile but I can't see the actual messages..

(sorry if this is the wrong forum, not letting me put it in the help forum ahh)

On mobile, PMs are your best answer but you can check them on your computer.
That is a harder question than it should be.

If you have a windows PC you can just click on the notification.
If you are on mobile/mac you can view it on the other person's profile by clicking "view conversation" if you have left them a message before.

Otherwise you can probably follow this link https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/converse.php?u=5234272&u2=2861820 to the message left by RC.

You're getting the new profile page so you ain't gonna be able to see VMs without going through some long method.
