What did you love as a child?

Ok, so... I got this thread idea by coming across @FemaleinDress's latest thread.

For me, I loved rain, reading and cute puppies as a child and I still love love them.
What about you guys?

My Grans cooking. Fresh veg from the garden. Instead of my dads stuff. His motto was if it`s burnt, it`s cooked. He really would put the sprouts on to boil when the chicken went in the oven.
